Use Social Media Marketing and your website to get noticed during Lockdown part 2

So we’re in another lockdown. We know, for a small business, these can be challenging and worrying times but I think it’s important to keep in mind that, at some point, things will return to normal and that we can adapt in the interim and use Social Media Marketing to keep in touch.

What did we learn last time round?

There are people who will be returning to reduced hours or on furlough which means a lot more people spending a lot of time on-line, looking at Social Media or websites. Making sure that your business has an on-line presence is even more important now, plus regular use of Social Media Marketing to keep your clients updated, will help get you noticed.

Your bricks and mortar building may not be open but your website and Social Media Marketing that you use are 24/7 tools that you can use to let clients and potential customers know about your business.  You may think, as a small business this isn’t important but we have clients based here locally to us in Langport, around Somerset and throughout the country, who have embraced on-line marketing tools and expanded their business even in these difficult times.

But where to start…

A good starting point is to look at your current website and Social Media pages and see how it stacks up against any competitors in your sector or businesses that you have noticed on-line.

What do you like about their Website or their Social Media posts?

What engages you?

What can you do in your business to mimic this?

Just a few ideas to get your started and, of course, if you need any help or are thinking “I don’t know where to start” Squiggle Graphics are more than happy to assist, just drop us a line.
